The transition area will be the same for our youth athletes as it is for the adults. Parents will not be allowed in the transition area during the event. There will be a limited number of volunteers in the transition area to assist athletes if needed. Even the youth athletes need to be able to get their shoes and helmets on properly.
SWIM: The swim starts on the beach with a short 100 meter run to the 100 meter open water swim. The water is shallow enough to stand in and lifeguards and volunteers are in the water with them if they need any help.
BIKE: The bike is a three loop 5K closed course on dirt trails and park roads in the beach area.
RUN: The run is a short, flat 1K out and back trail run.
FINISH: The finish line will be on the beach where family and friends will cheer them in. All athletes will get medals and be entered to win prizes.
